Introducing Live Healthy Lane
|
We all want Lane County to be a healthy place to live, learn, work and play.
Live Healthy Lane has a strong foundation for a healthy community -- abundant natural resources, and caring, innovative and hardworking people with a history of working together. While we are proud and grateful for these strengths, there is still work to be done. Live Healthy Lane unites Lane Community Health Council, Lane County Public Health, PeaceHealth, Trillium Community Health Plan, United Way of Lane County, our partners and YOU to improve your life, and help improve the lives of your family, friends, and neighbors. Together we can do more than each of us can do alone. |
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. A healthy community is one that is continuously creating and improving those physical and social environments and expanding those community resources that enable people to mutually support each other in performing all the functions of life |
